Week 1, 2013 at #deviant365!Hello Everyone!
I would like to formally welcome each and every one of you to the official #deviant365 group! We have a fantastic year ahead for all of you filled with events, contests, weekly tasks and perhaps most importantly, prizes! Every week we will be posting a task that hopes to get those creative juices flowing in your mind. Sometimes they will be simple, sometimes you might have to submit art, and sometimes they might be a week long task you partake in! But in every case, we hope to make them fun! 
Happy New Year, and may these tasks lead you to your greatest endeavor!

Stamps are a great way to show your support for a project, a person or a group of people, spread awareness for a cause or promote a contest. It is also valid to do them just for fun, with just a funny image and/or message.
Since their introduction to the deviantArt galleries, millions of stamps have been created with a great variety of messages, both silly and serious, and you can see them all over the place, from journals to profile widgets.

A while ago i realized that there is no glitter glomp emote - or i haven't found it yet. And a GinkySparklyPants-Fairy needs such an emote. Yes she does!
So here we go with an emote contes, as fairy is lazy and not skilled enough to create that on her own.
Rules
- no usage of existing emotes (like those you haven't created on your own, exept optional rule)
- entries should have been created for this contest only
- must have glitter, sparkles or anything like that
- emotes should be normal size (it may be be used as a plz later as well)
- you can enter as often as you want (but you can win only once)

As the old year begins to fade into the sunset, it is customary to reflect on the passing year and make plans for the upcoming one.  Some do this in the form of resolutions, some people make action plans, some people just swing into the new year the same way they swung out of the old one :) Whatever way you intend to welcome in 2013, I hope you're surrounded by love and that you do it safely!

Please tell us a little bit about yourself.
I graduated from university with a BA honour in illustration and animation, having worked at a different university for a few years, I am now a fulltime freelance illustrator and animator.
When did you start animating?
When I was a young teen I reckon! During that time of my life gif animations really took off all over the Internet and so many young animators at that age got ahold of free gif animation compilers, so although I can't give an exact age, I was pretty young at the time!

I looked up "Avatar the Last Airbender" (because I'm a fan of the series) and joined #avatar-fan
I also made a group called #Disney-By-Eras which is a Disney fan based group that sorts art by "era" (ex. The Disney Renaissance of 1989-2000)
